Post graduate in Science, with additional qualifications in Banking & Foreign Trade. He is the Managing Director & CEO of Manappuram Finance Ltd. In December 2013, he took part in a Global Strategic Leadership Program at the Wharton Business School, Philadelphia (USA). He acts as a managing Committee member of leading trade and industry associations such as ASSOCHAM and FICCI.
He is the Chairman of the Kerala state council of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He promoted Manappuram Finance Ltd. in 1992 and today the company has a pan-India presence with 3747 branches across 27 Indian states. Business Today, a leading business magazine ranked him among India’s Top 100 CEOs. Earlier, in December 2013, Business World had listed his name amongst India’s Most Valuable CEOs. He is widely recognized as a leading wealth creator for investors in India’s stock market circles.

Mr Deepkumar K R has been working in the IT industry for the past several years. He has been serving the Board of Directors as a Managing Director from 2012. Since May 2019, he has taken the additional role of CEO of the Company.
SUSHAMA NANDAKUMAR

Mrs Sushama Nandakumar, wife of Mr V P Nandakumar holds a Bachelors Degree in Science and also in Education from Calicut University and was an academician by profession. She has extensive experience in teaching. Post retirement, she started full time association with Manappuram Group of Companies. She is the Managing Director of Manappuram Jewellers Ltd and serves on the Board of many other group companies.
SREEDHARAN RADHAKRISHNAN NAIR (S R Nair)

SR Nair is a professional turned entrepreneur with close to four decades of experience. His core competencies lie in Technology, Marketing and Entrepreneurship. SR Nair’s contribution to wealth creation has been setting up of 5 companies in IT & Consulting, the first being Team Frontline Linted established in the year 1996, in Cochin. He had chaired Kerala Management Association (KMA), TiE:Kerala & Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD). To nurture entrepreneurship, he had established MentorGuru Professional Services Pvt. Ltd. which provides mentoring, handholding and funding assistance to early ventures and start-ups. SR Nair is a Seed Fund Committee Member of KSIDC and a Mentor on board at KSUM. SR Nair is a Visiting Faculty at IIM Kozhikode and Indian Maritime University. He is an author and also had published several papers on management & entrepreneurship. He is regularly featured on TV channels on career counselling, management and entrepreneurship.SR Nair is a sought after public speaker & thought leader. SR Nair is our Nomination and Remuneration Committee Chairman.

CA A K Mohanan is a Practicing Chartered Accountant having more than 30 years of experience. He has been serving as Independent Director to the Board of Manappuram Asset Finance Limited. Currently, CA AK Mohanan is our Audit Committee Chairman.

T BALAKRISHNAN

Mr. T Balakrishnan is an Independent Director of the Company. He hold a bachelor’s degree in arts from University of Delhi, India. He was a former member of the Indian Administrative Service. He have served for more than 18 years on the board of directors of several companies involved primarily in the manufacturing and infrastructure sectors. His directorships in the manufacturing sector include Kerala Minerals and Metals Limited, Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Limited, Apollo Tyres Limited, PTL Enterprises Limited, each from 2005 to 2012, Travancore Titanium Products Limited from 2005 to 2007 and EICL Limited from 2012 to 2023. His directorships in companies in the infrastructure sector include INKEL-EKK Roads Private Limited from 2016 to 2017, Cheraman Infrastructure Private Limited from 2012 to 2014, Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation Limited from 2005 to 2012, Kerala State Mineral Development Corporation Limited from 2005 to 2009, INKEL-KSIDC Projects Limited from 2011 to 2017 and Kerala High Speed Rail Corporation Limited from 2011 to 2021.
He held various key administrative positions in Kerala Government like- Additional Chief Secretary - Kerala Government, Excise Commissioner, Secretary, Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Managing Director, KTDC, District Collector, Trivandrum, Director, Tourism, Secretary, Excise Board of Revenue.
